Acupoint Application Combined with Hot Compress of Traditional Chi-nese Medicine Reyanbao in Nursing of Urinary Retention after Postopera-tive Lumbar Anesthesia in Anorectal Diseases
Objective To study and analyze the effect of acupoint application combined with Chinese medicine Remai Bao hot compress in nursing care of urinary retention after postoperative lumbar anesthesia in anorectal department.Methods A total of 110 patients with anorectal diseases who received lumbar anesthesia in the anorectal Department of Rudong County Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from January to June 2023 were randomly selected as the study objects,and they were divided into control group(n=50)and observation group(n=60)according to random num-ber table method.The control group was given routine nursing combined with acupoint application,and the observa-tion group was given traditional Chinese medicine Rebao hot compress based on the control group.The incidence of urinary retention,urinary catheterization rate,successful rate of urination,time of first urination,time of complete pa-tency of urination,negative mood scores,Numeric Rating Scales(NRS)score and satisfaction score were compared be-tween the two groups.Results The incidence of urinary retention(3.33%),urinary catheterization rate(3.33%)and uri-nary success rate(70.00%)in the observation group were better than those in the control group(18.00%,16.00%,50.00%),and the differences were statistically significant(χ2=6.519,3.873,4.582,all P<0.05).The time of first urina-tion and complete patency of urination in the observation group were significantly shorter than those in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(both P<0.05).Compared with the control group,the scores of anxiety,depression,pain were lower,and satisfaction in the observation group was higher,and the differences were sta-tistically significant(all P<0.05).Conclusion The application of acupoint application in combination with hot com-press of Chinese medicine Remian bag can not only help to reduce the incidence of urinary retention,accelerate the recovery of spontaneous urination,improve the success rate of urination,but also alleviate negative emotions and pain,and improve satisfaction.
