Effect of Clinical Pathway Nursing Intervention on Nursing Quality of Pa-tients Undergoing Operation for Acute Appendicitis
Objective To analyze the effect of clinical pathway nursing intervention on nursing quality in patients with acute appendicitis surgery. Methods A total of 80 patients with acute appendicitis admitted to the Department of Sur-gery of Feixian County People's Hospital from November 2021 to November 2023 were prospectively and randomly selected as the study objects and were divided into observation group and control group by random number table method, with 40 patients in each group. The observation group received clinical pathway nursing intervention, and the control group received routine nursing intervention. The nursing effect between the two groups was analyzed and com-pared.Results Compared with the control group, the health knowledge mastery and nursing treatment compliance of patients in the observation group were improved, the differences were statistically significant(both P<0.05).The anxi-ety degree and postoperative pain degree of patients in the observation group were lighter than those of the control group, and the time spent on getting out of bed after surgery was shorter than that of the control group, the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).The incidence of nursing adverse events in the observation group was 2.50%,which was significantly lower than that in the control group(20.00%),and the difference was statistically sig-nificant(χ2=6.134,P<0.05).Conclusion The use of clinical pathway nursing intervention in patients with acute ap-pendicitis surgery can further improve the quality of clinical care, improve the physical and mental comfort of patients during treatment, enhance the degree of cooperation of patients,so that patients can recover as soon as possible after surgery.
