Analysis of the Safety and Efficacy of Flexible Terminal Suction Ureteral Access Sheath Combined with Ureteral Flexible Scope in the Treatment of Upper Urinary Tract Stones
Objective To analysis and evaluation of the safety and effectiveness of flexible terminal suction ureteral ac-cess sheath(FTS-UAS)combined with ureteral flexible scope in the treatment of upper urinary tract stones.Methods A total of 120 patients with upper urinary tract stones admitted to Youxi County General Hospital from September 2021 to September 2023 were randomly selected as the study objects and divided into observation group(n=60)and control group(n=60)according to the random number table method.The two groups were treated with flexible ureteral suction sheath combined with flexible ureteroscope and percutaneous nephrolithotomy respectively.The effective rate,stone clearance rate and complication rate were compared between the two groups.Results The total effective rate of the observation group was 98.33%,which was higher than that of the control group(88.33%),and the difference was statistically significant(x2=4.821,P<0.05).The stone clearance rate of the observation group was higher than that of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(x2=9.924,P<0.05).The total incidence of compli-cations in the observation group was lower than that in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion The application of flexible terminal suction ureteral access sheath combined with ureteral flex-ible scope for the treatment of upper urinary tract stones has precise efficacy,is safe and reliable,and the patient's re-habilitation effect is obvious.
