Study on the Application of Blepharoplasty Massage Combined with So-dium Hyaluronate Eye Drops in Patients with Dry Eye Disease
Objective To explore the application value of blepharoplasty massage combined with sodium hyaluronate eye drops in patients with dry eye disease. Methods A total of 72 patients with dry eye treated in outpatient depart-ment of Zhongshan People's Hospital from January to December 2023 were conveniently selected as the study objects and divided into study group and reference group by envelope method, with 36 cases in each group. The reference group were treated with meibomian gland massage, and the study group was treated with sodium hyaluronate eye drops combined with meibomian gland massage, and the treatment cycle was 4 weeks.Ocular Surface Disease Index(OSDI),tear film function index, and the incidence of adverse reactions were compared between the two groups before and after treatment. Results After treatment, the scores of all parts of OSDI scale, total score in the study group were lower than those in the reference group, and the differences were statistically significant(both P<0.05).The score of corneal fluorescein staining in the study group was lower than that in the reference group, and the duration of tear se-cretion test and tear film rupture were better longer than that in the reference group, and the differences were statisti-cally significant(all P<0.05).The incidence of adverse reactions in the study group was lower than that in the refer-ence group(5.56%vs 11.11%),but the difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05).Conclusion Blepharo-plasty massage combined with sodium hyaluronate eye drops in patients with dry eye can effectively reduce the degree of dry eye, which has a positive significance on the enhancement of tear film function, and the combination of drugs does not increase the adverse reactions risk.
