Effect of Atorvastatin Combined with Ezetimibe in the Treatment of Mixed Hyperlipidemia
Objective To investigate the application value of ezetimibe combined with atorvastatin in patients with mixed hyperlipidemia. Methods A total of 84 patients with mixed hyperlipidemia treated in Huaxi District People's Hospital of Guiyang City from October 2022 to September 2023 were randomly selected as the study objects and were divided into two groups with 42 patients in each group by random number table method. The control group was treated with atorvastatin only, and the observation group was treated with ezetimibe.Blood lipid indexes, clinical efficacy and side effects were compared between the two groups. Results The total effective rate of the observation group was 97.62%,higher than 83.33%of the control group, the difference was statistically significant(x2=4.974,P=0.026).The level of lipid indexes in the observation group were greater than those in the control group, the differences were statis-tically significant(all P<0.05).There was no statistically significant difference in adverse reactions between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion Atorvastatin combined with ezetimibe can improve the clinical efficacy of patients with mixed hyperlipidemia, and the combined administration has a significant improvement effect on blood lipid level and good safety.
