Study on the Effect of Omeprazole and Pantoprazole in the Treatment of Peptic Ulcer Bleeding
Objective To investigate the clinical value of omeprazole and pantoprazole in the treatment of peptic ulcer bleeding(PUB).Methods A total of 90 PUB patients admitted to Leishan County People's Hospital from October 2021 to October 2023 were randomly selected as the study objects and divided into two groups with 45 cases each by ran-dom number table method. The control group was treated with omeprazole and the observation group was treated with pantoprazole. The clinical efficacy, hemostasis and recovery speed,pH value of fasting gastric fluid, radical treatment rate of helicobacter pylori(Hp)and the occurrence of adverse reactions were compared between the two groups. Results The total effective rate of the observation group was 97.78%,higher than that of the control group(84.44%),and the difference was statistically significant(x2=4.939,P=0.026).The amount of bleeding before hemostasis and the number of bleeding before hemostasis in the observation group were better than those in the control group, and the duration of hemostasis and hospital stay were shorter than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically signifi-cant(all P<0.05).After treatment, the fasting gastric juice pH value and the radical Hp treatment rate of the observa-tion group were higher than those of the control group, and the total incidence of adverse reactions was lower than that of the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).Conclusion The effect of pantopra-zole in the treatment of PUB is better than omeprazole, which can shorten the time of hemostasis and hospitalization, reduce the number and amount of bleeding, and has advantages in regulating the pH value of gastric juice and drug safety.
