Effect of Rabeprazole Combined with Mosapride on the Efficacy and Gas-trointestinal Function of Elderly Patients with Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease
Objective To study the effects of rabeprazole combined with mosapride on the efficacy and gastrointestinal function of elderly patients with gastroesophageal reflux disease(GERD).Methods A total of 78 cases of elderly pa-tients diagnosed with GERD by Anxi County Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from March 2022 to January 2024 were conveniently selected as study objects,and divided into two groups by combining the method of randomized number table with 39 cases in each group.The control group took mosapride monotherapy,and the observation group took rabeprazole combined with mosapride.Compared the medication efficacy,symptom indexes before and after medi-cation,gastrointestinal function and medication safety of the two groups.Results The total effective rate of medication in the observation group(97.44%)was higher than that of the control group(79.49%),and the difference was statisti-cally significant(x2=4.521,P<0.05).After using the drug,the gastric emptying time,total reflux time and number of times in the observation group were better than those in the control group,and the differences were statistically signifi-cant(both P<0.05).After using the drug,the gastrointestinal function indexes,and the difference was statistically sig-nificant(P<0.05).The percentage of patients who experienced adverse reactions was comparable in both groups,and the difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05).Conclusion Rabeprazole combiend with mosapride can en-hance the effect of medication on elderly GERD patients,improve the symptom indicators and gastrointestinal function of patients more effectively,and can be safe to use.
