Evaluation of Cluster Nursing Mode and Nursing Intervention Effect in Prevention of Ventilator-associated Pneumonia
Objective To explore the effect of cluster nursing scheme in patients with mechanical ventilation. Methods A total of 66 patients with mechanical ventilation were conveniently selected from Qingdao Pingdu Third People's Hospital from May 2022 to May 2023 as the study objects, and were divided into two groups according to random num-ber table method, with 33 cases in each group. The reference group adopted the routine mechanical ventilation nursing mode, and the study group adopted the cluster nursing mode. The blood gas indexes before and after intervention,inci-dence of mechanical ventilator-associated pneumonia and nursing satisfaction were compared between the two groups. Results The blood carbon dioxide fraction of the study group was lower than that of the reference group, and the blood oxygen partial pressure and blood oxygen saturation were higher than those of the reference group, and the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).The incidence of mechanical ventilator-associated pneumonia in the study group(6.06%)was lower than that in the reference group(27.27%),and the difference was statistically significant(x2=5.345,P<0.05).The nursing satisfaction of the study group was higher than that of the reference group, and the differ-ence was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion The implementation of cluster nursing mode can improve the patient's blood gas indicators, accelerate the speed of restoring normal blood oxygen partial pressure and saturation, significantly reduce the incidence of mechanical ventilation related pneumonia, and increase patient satisfaction.
