Effect of Comfort Nursing Application in Nursing of Recurrent Respira-tory Tract Infection in Children
Objective To analyze the effect of comfort nursing in children with recurrent respiratory tract infection.Methods A total of 150 children with respiratory tract infection admitted to Liping County People's Hospital from Oc-tober to November 2023 were simple randomly selected as the study objects and were divided into two groups with 75 cases each by random number table method.The control group received routine nursing,the observation group re-ceived comfort nursing,and the comfort scores,complications and family satisfaction with nursing were compared be-tween the two groups.Results The comfort scores of physical activity,facial activity,contact,sleep quality and emo-tional reassurance in the observation group were higher than those in the control group,and the differences were statis-tically significant(all P<0.05).The complication rate of the observation group(1.33%)was lower than that of the con-trol group(10.67%),and the difference was statistically significant(x2=4.255,P=0.039).The satisfaction of family members in observation group(98.67%)was higher than that in control group(88.00%),and the difference was statisti-cally significant(x2=6.857,P=0.009).Conclusion The application of comfort nursing in the nursing of children with recurrent respiratory tract infection can accelerate the speed of recovery of children,improve the comfort of nursing and reduce the risk of complications in children.
