Evaluation of the Application Effect of Acupuncture Combined with Tiao-zhou Method in Treating Spleen Deficiency and Phlegm-dampness Type Polycystic Ovary Syndrome Infertility
Objective To investigate the clinical efficacy of the combined use of the Tiaozhou method and acupuncture in infertile patients with polycystic ovary syndrome(spleen deficiency and phlegm dampness type).Methods A total of 100 infertility patients with polycystic ovary syndrome(spleen deficiency phlegm-dampness type)treated in Qingdao Huangdao Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from January 2022 to January 2023 were simple randomly se-lected and divided into two group with 50 cases each by random number table method.The control group was treated with Tiaozhou method,and the observation group was treated with acupuncture and moxibustion on the basis of this method.The treatment efficiency and sex hormone levels were compared between the two groups.Results The total ef-fective rate of the observation group was 92.00%,higher than that of the control group(76.00%),and the difference was statistically significant(x2=4.761,P<0.05).After treatment,sex hormone indexes in the observation group was lower than that in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion The treat-ment of infertility patients with polycystic ovary syndrome(spleen deficiency phlegm-dampness type)can better regu-late hormone levels and improve the success rate of pregnancy.
