Comparison of Clinical Efficacy of Pulp Angioplasty and Apical Induced Angioplasty in the Treatment of Pulp Necrosis Caused by Trauma of Young Permanent Teeth
Objective To investigate the clinical efficacy between pulp angioplasty and apical induced angioplasty in the treatment of pulp necrosis caused by trauma of young permanent teeth. Methods A total of 88 young children with endodontic necrosis due to permanent tooth trauma treated in Jining Third People's Hospital from January 2019 to January 2022 were conveniently selected as the study objects and divided into study group and control group by ran-dom number table method, with 44 cases in each group.Pulp angioplasty was performed in the study group, and apical induction angioplasty was performed in the control group. The clinical efficacy, pulp activity and root development of the two groups were compared. The length of the root canal length and the thickness of the root crown wall were re-corded before treatment and at the last follow-up.The incidence of complications in the two groups was analyzed. Results The total effective rate of the study group was 90.91%,which was higher than that of the control group(75.00% ),and the difference was statistically significant(χ2=3.938,P<0.05).At the last follow-up,the positive rate of pulp activity and the rate of continued root development in the study group were higher than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(both P<0.05).At the last follow-up,the root canal length and the wall thickness of the root canal in both groups increased compared with that before treatment, and the study group was better than the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).The complication rate of the study group was lower than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Pulp angioplasty has better clinical efficacy than apical induced angioplasty in the treatment of pulp ne-crosis caused by trauma of young permanent teeth. It can not only improve pulp vitality, but also promote the continu-ous development of tooth roots, and has a low complication rate and good safety.
