Efficacy and Safety Analysis of Irbesartan Hydrochlorothiazide Combined with Amlodipine Besylate in the Treatment of Initial Hypertension
Objective To explore the efficacy and safety of irbesartan hydrochlorothiazide combined with amlodipine besylate in the treatment of initial hypertension. Methods 58 hypertensive patients admitted to Fujian Provincial Geri-atric Hospital from January 2021 to December 2022 were conveniently selected as study subjects, and were divided into two groups according to treatment methods, with 29 cases in each group. The control group was treated with amlo-dipine benzenesulfonate, and the observation group was treated with irbesartan hydrochlorothiazide combined with am-lodipine benzenesulfonate.Compared the clinical efficacy, blood pressure level, adverse reactions between the two groups. Results The treatment total efficiency of the observation group(100.00% )was significantly higher than that of the control group(86.21% ),and the difference was statistically significant(χ2=4.296,P<0.05).After treatment, the blood pressure level of the observation group was lower than that of the control group, and the difference was statisti-cally significant(P<0.05).There was no statistically significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions be-tween the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion The combined application of irbesartan hydrochlorothiazide and amlodip-ine besylate in patients with initial hypertension can effectively reduce the blood pressure level of patients, and have a high treatment efficiency without increasing the incidence of adverse reactions.
