Evaluation of the Influence of Pre-hospital Emergency Nursing on the Clinical Prognosis of Emergency Coma Patients
Objective To study and analyze the effect of pre-hospital emergency nursing intervention on the clinical prognosis of coma patients. Methods From January 2022 to June 2022,34 patients with coma condition directly admit-ted to the Emergency Department of Caoxian County People's Hospital were conveniently selected as the control group. From July 2022 to December 2022,41 comatose patients received pre-hospital emergency care were conve-niently selected as research group. All indexes related to first aid, incidence of complications and nursing satisfaction of patients were compared between the two groups. Results In the control group, the time of hospitalization, emergency response time and total emergency time were(13.75±2.17)min,(7.64±1.23)min and(52.64±16.95)min,respectively.They were longer than those in the research group:(10.23±1.46)min,(3.29±1.02)min,(43.18±12.16)min,and the dif-ferences were statistically significant(t=8.358,16.747,2.807,all P<0.05).Compared with(23.52% )in the control group, the complication incidence in the research group(4.87% )was lower, and the difference was statistically signifi-cant(χ2=5.595,P<0.05).The patients in the research group had higher satisfaction with the nursing than the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion The implementation of nursing intervention for emergency coma patients and the development of pre-hospital emergency nursing are helpful to improve the timeli-ness of emergency treatment for patients, maintain their life safety, and reduce the impact of coma on the health of pa-tients.
