Study on the Effectiveness of Multifunctional Respiratory Rehabilitation Sputum Exhaust Valve on Rehabilitation Nursing Care for Patients with Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease
Objective To explore clinical effect of utilizing multifunctional respiratory rehabilitation sputum exhaust valve in patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. Methods A total of 90 patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease admitted to the Seventh Affiliated Hospital of Guangxi Medical University from June 2022 to July 2023 were simple randomly selected as the study objects, and were divided into respiratory valve group, lip reduction respiratory group and control group according to random number table method, with 30 cases in each group. The con-trol group received routine nursing, the respiratory valve group was based on the control group to use multi-functional respiratory rehabilitation and sputum exhaust valve to exercise the respiratory muscle, and the lip contraction breath-ing group was based on the control group to exercise the lip contraction breathing. The dyspnea score,6-min walking distance and lung function level of the three groups were compared. Results After intervention, the dyspnea score and 6 min walking test distance of the three groups were better than those before intervention, and the differences were sta-tistically significant(all P<0.05).The dyspnea score of the breathing valve group[(1.43±0.63)points]was lower than that of the control group[(2.30±0.60)points]and the lip contraction breathing group[(1.83±0.65)points],and the dif-ference was statistically significant(F=14.514,P<0.05).The 6-min walking test distance of the breathing valve group was longer than that of the other two groups, and the differences were statistically significant(both P<0.05).Before in-tervention,there was no statistically significant difference in pulmonary function indexes among 3 groups(P>0.05);af-ter intervention, the pulmonary function indexes of the breathing valve group was better than that of the other two groups, and the difference were statistically significant(both P<0.05).Conclusion Multi-function respiratory rehabili-tation and sputum discharge valve has a good effect on rehabilitation nursing of patients with chronic obstructive pul-monary disease.
