Effect of Intensive Respiratory Care on the Effect of Sputum Excretion and Lung Infection in ICU Lung Cancer Patients
Objective To investigate the effects of intensive respiratory care intervention on the effect of sputum excre-tion and lung infection in ICU lung cancer patients after implementation. Methods The clinical data of 100 patients with lung cancer in ICU admitted to Sun Yat-sen University Cancer Center from January 2021 to December 2022 were retrospectively selected.According to different nursing methods, they were divided into control group(50 cases with conventional nursing intervention mode)and observation group(50 cases with conventional intensive respiratory nursing mode). The effect of expectoration, pulmonary infection, psychological state, quality of life and nursing satis-faction of the two groups were compared. Results The sputum output in the observation group was higher than that in the control group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The incidence of pulmonary infection in obser-vation group was lower than that in control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The life quality score of the observation group was higher than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically sig-nificant(P<0.05).The total satisfaction of nursing in the observation group was 94.00%,higher than that in the control group(80.00% ),and the difference was statistically significant(χ2=4.332,P<0.05).Conclusion For ICU lung cancer patients, the implementation of intensive respiratory care model can help improve the effect of sputum excretion,re-duce the occurrence of lung infection, and improve the quality of life and satisfaction of patients.
