Summary of Professor Teng Xiuxiang's Clinical Experience in the Treat-ment of Polycystic Ovary Syndrome
Polycystic ovary syndrome(PCOS)is a common female reproductive endocrine disorder.Its clinical mani-festations are polymorphic.Due to its wide range of pathological changes,diagnosis and treatment are complicated.This paper aimed to summarize Professor Teng Xiuxiang's clinical experience in the treatment of PCOS,and ex-pounded her academic viewpoints on the pathogenesis of"deficiency of spleen and kidney,abnormal pneumatization,internal obstruction of phlegm turbidity,and irregularity of chongren"by analyzing specific cases.Clinically,the thera-peutic principles of"invigorating spleen and kidney,regulating qi mechanism,removing dampness and resolving phlegm,regulating Changchongren"showed remarkable curative effect and provided clinical ideas for the future treat-ment of PCOS.
