Clinical Effect of Nasal Positive Pressure Nebulization of Budesonide Sus-pension on Postoperative Nasal Polyposis
Objective To evaluate the clinical efficacy of budesonide suspension(BIS)in patients with nasal polyposis after operation. Methods A total of sixty patients with nasal polyps who underwent endoscopic surgery in Huishan Dis-trict People's Hospital of Wuxi City from October 2022 to September 2023 were randomly selected as the study ob-jects,and grouped according to random number table method.Control group(30 cases, postoperative budesonide nasal spray),observation group(30 cases, postoperative nasal positive pressure aerosol inhalation of BIS 10 d+subsequent budesonide nasal spray). The clinical efficacy, nasal function score, nasal airway resistance,C-reactive protein(CRP)and symptom score of the two groups were compared. Results Compared with the control group(80.00%),the total ef-fective rate of the observation group(96.67%)was higher, and the difference was statistically significant(x2=4.043,P=0.044).After treatment, the nasal function score, nasal airway resistance,CRP and symptom score in the observation group were lower than those in the control group, the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).Conclusion BIS treatment with nasal positive pressure nebulizing after operation can reduce inflammation, nasal airway resistance, improve nasal function, improve the overall curative effect, and promote the resolution of symptoms.
