Analysis of the Effect of 131I in the Treatment of GD Hyperthyroidism
Objective To investigate the effect of 131I treatment for hyperthyroidism in Graves disease(GD).Methods 100 cases of GD hyperthyroidism patients who were diagnosed in the Second Affiliated Hospital of Soochow University from September 2021 to September 2023 were prospective randomly selected as the study subjects, and they were grouped according to the different treatment modes, with 50 cases in each group. The observation group implemented 131I treatment, and the control group was treated with methimazole, comparing the clinical treatment effects of the two groups. Results The total effective rate of treatment in the observation group was 98.00%,which was higher than that in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(x2=4.396,P<0.05).After treatment, the levels of thyroid-stimulating hormone, free triiodothyronine and free tetraiodothyronine in the observation groups were better than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).After treatment, the lev-els of type I procollagen N-terminal propeptide, osteocalcin and alkaline phosphatase in the observation group were more favorable than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).Conclu-sion The clinical effect of 131I treatment in GD hyperthyroidism is more obvious, and it can improve patients'thyroid function indexes as well as bone metabolism indexes, with fewer adverse reactions.
