Analysis of the Effect of Tolvaptan Tablets Combined with Torasemide Tablets Treatment on Cardiac Function in Elderly Patients with Heart Failure
Objective To explore the effect of combined treatment of tolvaptan tablets and torasemide tablets on car-diac function of elderly patients with heart failure.Methods A total of 96 elderly patients with heart failure admitted to Xiamen Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from September 2021 to November 2023 were conveniently se-lected as the study subjects,and were divided into two groups of 48 patients each by random number table method.Pa-tients in the control group were treated with torasemide tablets,and the study group was treated with tolvaptan tablets combined with torasemide tablets.Compare the cardiac function indexes and clinical related indexes before and after the treatment of the two groups of patients,and compare the clinical efficiency and the incidence of adverse reactions after the treatment of the two groups of patients.Results After treatment,the level of cardiac function indexes and clinical related indexes of the patients in the study group were better than those of the control group,and the differ-ences were statistically significant(both P<0.05).The total clinical treatment efficiency of patients in the study group was 97.92%,which was higher than 81.25%in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(x2=7.144,P<0.05).The total incidence of adverse reactions in the study group was lower than that in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Tolvaptan tablets combined with torasemide tab-lets in the treatment of elderly patients with heart failure,its cardiac function and clinical related indexes significantly improved,and the clinical therapeutic effect is significant,and the safety is high.
