Effect Appraisal of Comprehensive Oral Exercise Interventions on the Im-provement of Premature Infant's Oral Feeding
Objective To explore the application value of comprehensive oral exercise intervention on the oral feeding improvements for premature infants. Methods A total of 60 premature infants admitted to Heyuan Maternal and Child Health Care Hospital from June 2021 to December 2022 were simple randomly selected as study objects.According to random number table method, infants were assigned to control group(n=30,routine developmental care)and study group(n=30,routine developmental care and comprehensive oral exercise interventions). The transition to complete oral feeding time, feeding efficiency, milk intake ratio and ponderal growth speeds between two groups were compared. Results The transition to complete oral feeding time in the study group and control group were(9.42±1.65)d and(10.58±2.10)d,the difference was statistically significant(t=2.379,P<0.05).The average daily body weight increased rate of the study group was(25.98±4.26)g/(kg·d)faster than that of the control group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The efficiency of initial oral feeding was(4.20±0.48)mL/min and complete oral feeding was(7.24±0.65)mL/min in the study group, which were higher than those in the control group was(3.68±0.40)mL/min and(6.50±0.52)mL/min.The milk intake of the study group was higher than that of the control group, and the differ-ence was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Comprehensive oral exercise can improve the feeding effi-ciency,promote the feeding process and weight growth of premature infants, which is worthy of clinical reference.
