Effect of Artificial Airway Cluster Nursing in ICU Patients with Severe Craniocerebral Injury
Objective To study the effect of cluster nursing on artificial airway establishment in ICU patients with se-vere craniocerebral injury. Methods A total of 80 ICU patients with severe craniocerebral injury admitted to the Sec-ond Affiliated Hospital of Shandong First Medical University from April 2021 to April 2023 were prospective ran-domly selected as the study objects to establish artificial airways for all of them.Random number table method was used to divide the patients into groups.40 patients in control group received routine nursing and 40 patients in obser-vation group received cluster nursing.Nursing related indicators, complication rate and satisfaction of family members were compared between the two groups. Results The daily times of sputum aspiration and daily amount of sputum aspi-ration in observation group were significantly higher than those in control group, and the mechanical ventilation time was shorter than that in control group, the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).The total incidence of complications in the observation group was 5.00%,which was lower than 20.00%in the control group, and the differ-ence was statistically significant(x2=4.114,P=0.042).The total nursing satisfaction of family members in observation group was higher than that in control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion The use of artificial airway cluster nursing to provide services for ICU patients with severe craniocerebral injury can assist in the suction of more sputum,so that patients can be removed from mechanical ventilation as soon as possible, the in-cidence of related complications is lower, and family satisfaction is higher.
