Analysis of the Application of Enhanced Recovery After Surgery Concept in Perioperative Nursing of Patients undergoing Radical Thyroidectomy for Papillary Carcinoma
Objective To analyze the results of perioperative nursing based on enhanced recovery after surgery(ERAS)in patients with radical papillary thyroid carcinoma(PTC).Methods A total of 90 patients who underwent PTC operation in Longkou People's Hospital of Yantai City,Shandong Province from July 2022 to June 2023 were ran-domly selected as the study objects and divided into groups according to random number table method, with 45 pa-tients in each group. The control group received conventional perioperative nursing, and the study group adopted ERAS concept for perioperative nursing on the basis of the control group. The scores of Self-rating Sepression Scale(SDS),Self-rating Anxiety Scale(SAS),General Comfort Questionnaire(GCQ),postoperative complications and nurs-ing satisfaction were compared between the two groups. Results After nursing, the scores of SAS and SDS in the study group were lower than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(both P<0.05).The psychological and physiological scores of GCQ in the study group were higher than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(both P<0.05).The total incidence of postoperative complications in the study group was 4.44%,which was lower than that in the control group(17.78%),and the difference was statistically signifi-cant(x2=4.050,P<0.05).The total satisfaction rate of nursing in the study group was 97.78%,which was higher than that in the control group(82.22%),and the difference was statistically significant(x2=4.444,P<0.05).Conclusion Perioperative nursing of PTC patients using ERAS concept can effectively improve psychological status, increase com-fort and nursing satisfaction, and reduce the risk of postoperative complications.
