Implementation Effect of Precision Nursing Intervention in Elderly Pa-tients with Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus
Objective To study the effect of precision nursing intervention on elderly patients with type 2 diabetes mel-litus(T2DM).Methods A total of 60 elderly T2DM patients admitted to the endocrinology department of Zoucheng People's Hospital from March to October 2023 were simple randomly selected as the study objects and grouped ac-cording to different time periods. The study group was selected from July to October 2023 and the control group was selected from March to June 2023.Blood glucose index,self-management ability and complication rate of the two groups were analyzed. Results The fasting blood glucose(FBG)of the study group was(4.28±1.11)mmol/L after nurs-ing,and 2-hour postprandial blood glucose(2 hBG)of the study group was(5.18±1.13)mmol/L.They were lower than those of control group's(6.38±1.01)and(8.23±1.22)mmol/L,and the difference was statistically significant(t=7.664,10.046,both P<0.05).After nursing, the scores of reasonable diet, exercise, regular life, symptom management and emotion management in the study group were higher than those in the control group, and the differences were statisti-cally significant(all P<0.05).Conclusion For older patients with T2DM,ongoing treatment and care are needed to ef-fectively manage blood glucose levels and associated metabolic imbalances, relieve their clinical symptoms, and im-prove their quality of life. The application of precision nursing in the nursing of elderly patients with T2DM can im-prove their blood glucose index and self-management ability.
