Analysis of Clinical Effect of the Treatment of Lumbar Intervertebral Disc Herniation by the Mild Fire Needle Combined with Warm Needle
Objective To investigate the clinical effect of treating lumbar disc herniation(LDH)with mild fire needle combined with warm needle.Methods A total of 92 patients with LDH admitted to Shandong Yiyang Health Group Xinwen Central Hospital from March 2022 to August 2023 were conveniently selected as the study objects,and were divided into control group and study group by random number table method,with 46 cases in each group.The control group was treated with warm acupuncture,and the study group was treated with mild fire needle combined with warm needle.The clinical efficacy,Tranditional Chinese Medicine(TCM)syndrome score,pain degree,lumbar function and adverse reactions were compared between the two groups.Results The total effective rate of the study group was 95.65%,which was higher than that of the control group(80.43%),the difference was statistically significant(x2=5.060,P<0.05).After treatment,TCM syndrome scores of both groups decreased,and the study group was lower than the control group,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05);after treatment,the Visual Analogue Scale score of pain in two groups decreased,and the study group was lower than the control group,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05);after treatment,the Japanese Orthopaedic Association Scores(JOA)increased and the Oswestry Disability Index(ODI)score decreased in both groups,JOA score of the study group was higher than that of the con-trol group,and ODI score was lower than that of the control group,the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).The incidence of adverse reactions in the study group was 8.70%,which was lower than that in the control group(15.22%),but there was no statistically significant different between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion The mild fire needle combined with warm needle for the treatment of LDH can improve the clinical efficacy,promote the relief of clinical symptoms,reduce the degree of pain,improve the function of lumbar spine,and have high safety.
