Research on the Progress in the Application of Traditional Chinese Medi-cine Traditional Specialized External Treatment in Patients with Diabetic Peripheral Neuropathy
Diabetic peripheral neuropathy(DPN)is a widespread disease in diabetic patients,who usually suffer from sensory abnormalities such as numbness and pain in the lower limbs,and the clinical symptoms of DPN patients are many,which seriously affect the quality of life.Clinical treatment for DPN patients is mostly based on oral drug therapy,and its clinical application has certain limitations.The emergence of traditional Chinese medicine traditional specialized external therapies provides new ideas for the treatment of DPN,and there are differences in the application and efficacy of many specialized external therapies.The paper mainly explores the significance of the clinical applica-tion of DPN and external therapies from three aspects:the pathogenesis and clinical symptoms of DPN,the under-standing of DPN in traditional Chinese medicine,and the technical advantages of traditional Chinese medicine tradi-tional specialized external therapies,and explores the application effects of external therapies from three dimensions:massage with paste preparation therapy,Tuina therapy,and acupuncture therapy.In order to provide important techni-cal references for the treatment of DPN patients,to meet the individualized treatment needs of DPN patient groups,and to highlight the value of traditional Chinese medicine in the treatment of DPN.
