Research of the Application Effect of Continuous Negative Pressure Aspira-tion in Poor Wound Healing after Tension-free Repair of Inguinal Hernia
Objective To evaluate the effect of continuous negative pressure aspiration on poor wound healing after tension-free inguinal hernia repair. Methods A total of 76 patients with tension-free inguinal hernia repair admitted to Southern Hospital of Southern Medical University from March 2022 to July 2023 were conveniently selected as the study objects, and were divided into two groups with 38 cases each by double-blind method. The control group under-went wound dressing change, and the observation group underwent continuous negative pressure aspiration.Incision recovery, inflammatory factor levels and pain levels were compared between the two groups. Results The treatment time in the observation group was(6.34±2.23)d,which was shorter than(10.23±3.16)d in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(t=3.433,P<0.05).The frequency of dressing change in the observation group was less than that in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).On the intervention day, there was no statistically significant difference in the level of inflammatory factors and pain degree between the two groups(both P>0.05).After 5 and 10 days of intervention, the inflammation indexes and pain degree of the obser-vation group were better than those of the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(both P<0.05).Conclusion Continuous negative pressure aspiration after tension-free inguinal hernia repair can promote wound recovery, inhibit inflammatory markers, and significantly relieve pain in patients.
