Clinical Effect of Mifepristone Combined with Norethisterone Tablets in the Treatment of Perimenopausal Functional Uterine Bleeding
Objective To investigate the effect of mifepristone combined with norethisterone tablets in the treatment of perimenopausal functional uterine bleeding.Methods A total of eighty-two patients with perimenopausal functional uterine bleeding admitted to Nantong Tongzhou District Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from January 2021 to June 2023 were conveniently selected as the study objects and divided into two groups according to random number table method.Control group(41 cases)was treated with mifepristone,observation group(41 cases)was treated with mifepristone combined with norethisterone tablets.The clinical effect,endometrial thickness,menstrual volume,sex hormone level and adverse reactions were compared between the two groups.Results The total effective rate of obser-vation group(97.56%)was higher than that of control group(82.93%),and the difference was statistically significant(χ2=4.987,P<0.05).After treatment,endometrial thickness,menstrual volume and sex hormone levels were reduced in both groups,and the observation group was better than the control group,the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).There was no statistically significant difference in the rate of adverse reactions between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion In the treatment of perimenopausal functional uterine bleeding,mifepristone combined with norethisterone tablets can relieve symptoms and regulate sex hormone levels,with few adverse reactions.
