Effect of Cetirizine Hydrochloride Combined with Montelukast Sodium in Children with Asthmatic Bronchopneumonia and Its Influence on the Level of Inflammatory Indicators
Objective To analyze the therapeutic effect of cetirizine hydrochloride combined with montelukast sodium in the treatment of children with asthmatic bronchopneumonia.Methods A total of one hundred children with asth-matic bronchopneumonia treated in the Department of Pediatrics of Baiyun District People's Hospital of Guiyang City from March 2022 to October 2023 were randomly selected as the study objects.According to different treatment meth-ods,they were divided into control group and observation group,with fifty cases in each group.The control group was treated with montelukast sodium,and the observation group was treated with cetirizine hydrochloride.The clinical effi-cacy,adverse reactions,inflammatory indicators and symptom disappearance time were compared between the two groups.Results The clinical efficacy and symptom disappearance time of the observation group were better than those of the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).After treatment,the level of inflam-mation indexes in the observation group was lower than that in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The incidence of complications in the observation group was 4.00%,lower than that in the con-trol group(10.00%),but the difference was not statistically significant(χ2=0.614,P<0.05).Conclusion The combina-tion of cetirizine hydrochloride and montelukast sodium can improve the anti-inflammatory effect of the drug,and can significantly improve the clinical effect and reduce the inflammatory response of the children.
