Impact of Palliative Care with Family Primary Caregiver Participation on Cancer Pain and Quality of Life in Advanced Lung Cancer Patients
Objective To analyze the effect of palliative care with family primary caregiver participation applied to pa-tients with advanced lung cancer.Methods 108 patients with advanced lung cancer admitted to Shouguang Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from January 2021 to January 2023 were conveniently selected for the study,and they were divided into two groups of 54 cases each by lottery method.The control group implemented primary care,and the study group implemented palliative care with family primary caregiver participation,comparing pain scores,quality of life scores,and family satisfaction between the two groups.Results After nursing,the pain scores of both groups de-creased,and the study group was lower than the control group,and the quality of life scores of both groups increased,and the study group was higher than the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).Total family satisfaction in the study group was 96.30%,which was higher than 79.63%in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(χ2=7.083,P<0.05).Conclusion The application of palliative care with the pri-mary family caregiver participation in patients with advanced lung cancer has an outstanding effect,which is of posi-tive significance in relieving patients'cancer pain and improving patients'quality of life.
