Assessment and Analysis of the Value of Early Nursing Intervention in Pre-venting Postoperative Orthopedic Incision Infections
Objective To study the effect of early nursing intervention on reducing the incidence of postoperative inci-sion infection in orthopedic surgery patients. Methods 96 patients admitted to the Department of Orthopedics of Zibo Zhangdian District Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from May 2022 to May 2023 were conveniently selected for the study, and all of them adopted surgical treatment methods.Grouped by the random number table method, the control group performed routine care(48 cases),and the observation group performed early nursing intervention(48 cases). The incision infection rate, quality of life and nursing satisfaction were analyzed in the two groups. Results The incision infection rate in the observation group was 2.08%,which was lower than the 12.50%in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(χ2=3.852,P<0.05).The quality of life score of the observation group was higher than that of the control group after nursing, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The total nursing satisfaction of the observation group was higher than that of the control group, and the difference was statisti-cally significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Early nursing intervention as a nursing method for orthopedics patients taking surgical treatment is conducive to the further reduction of incision infection rate, improvement of quality of life, and enhancement of nursing satisfaction.
