Evaluation of the Effect of Implementing Systematic Nursing Intervention in Patients with Bipolar Disorder Manic Episode
Objective To study the prognostic changes of patients with bipolar disorder manic episode who received systematic nursing intervention.Methods A total of 80 patients with bipolar disorder manic episode who attended the Liaocheng Fourth People's Hospital from January 2022 to June 2023 were randomly selected as study objects.Grouped according to the random number table method,each group was 40 cases.The control group and the observa-tion group were subjected to conventional nursing intervention and systematic nursing intervention,respectively.The manic symptoms,psychological elasticity,cognitive function,social function,and quality of life were compared be-tween the two groups.Results After the intervention,the manic symptom score of the observation group(16.57±3.25)points was significantly lower than that of the control group(19.54±3.15)points,and the difference was statistically significant(t=4.150,P<0.05).The psychological elasticity score and cognitive functioning score of the observation group were higher than thsoe of the control group,and the social functioning score was lower than that of the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).The observation group had higher quality of life score after the intervention than the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Using systematic nursing intervention as a nursing method for patients with bipolar disorder manic episode is condu-cive to reducing manic symptoms,enhancing psychological resilience and cognitive functioning,and leading to signifi-cant improvement in social functioning and quality of life.
