Effects Analysis of Caffeine Citrate Assisted PS in the Treatment of Neona-tal Respiratory Distress Syndrome on Serum Inflammatory Factors and Blood Gas Analysis
Objective To analyze the clinical efficacy of caffeine citrate assisted pulmonary surfactant(PS)in the treat-ment of neonatal respiratory distress syndrome(NRDS)and its effects on serum inflammatory factors and lung function. Methods A total of eighty children with NRDS admitted to the pediatric department of Nantong University Affiliated Maternal and Child Health Hospital from January 2020 to January 2023 were simple randomly selected as the study objects and divided into two groups according to different treatment methods, with forty cases in each group. The con-trol group was treated with PS,and the observation group was treated with caffeine citrate. Both groups were treated for 2 weeks. The clinical efficacy, serum inflammatory factors, blood gas index, therapeutic effect and complications were compared between the two groups. Results The clinical effect of observation group(95.00%)was higher than that of control group, the difference was statistically significant(χ2=5.165,P=0.023).After treatment, the C-reactive pro-tein,procalcitonin and white blood cell counts in observation group were lower than those in control group, the differ-ences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).After treatment, the pH,arterial blood oxygen partial pressure and oxy-genation index in observation group were higher than those in control group, and the arterial blood carbon dioxide frac-tion was lower than those in control group, the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).The ventilator use time, oxygen use time and hospital stay in the observation group were shorter than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).The number of apnea in the observation group was less than that in the control group, and the differences was statistically significant(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the total incidence of complications between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion The use of caffeine citrate assisted PS therapy in children with NRDS can effectively improve blood gas indexes, reduce inflammation, improve treatment efficiency, safety and reliability.
