Application Value of Long Guide Wire Exchange Technique in Transra-dial Artery Angiography
Objective To explore the value of using long guide wire exchange technique in cerebrovascular angiogra-phy through radial artery approach, and to determine the effectiveness and safety of using long guide wire exchange technique in cerebrovascular angiography through transradial artery approach. Methods One hundred and fifty pa-tients in Zhangye Second People's Hospital who underwent cerebral angiography at radial artery entrance from Janu-ary to December 2023 using long guide wire exchange technique were randomly selected as the observation group.A total of one hundred and fifty patients who underwent cerebral angiography using long wire exchange technique at femoral artery entrance from September 2019 to December 2022 in the hospital were randomly selected as the control group. The differences in the success rate of catheterization, contrast time, exposure time, image quality and safety of the two groups were compared. Results The success rate of puncture catheterization in observation group was higher than that in control group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The contrast time(65.19±6.25)min and exposure time(12.56±3.28)min in the observation group were significantly shorter than those in the control group, the differences were statistically significant(t=5.648,7.285,both P<0.05).There was no significant difference in image quality scores between the two groups(P>0.05).The total incidence of complications in the observation group was sig-nificantly lower than that in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion The use of long wire exchange technology in transradial artery cerebrovascular angiography has good image quality, can significantly promote the success of puncture catheterization, shorten the angiography time and exposure time, and has higher safety.
