Analysis of Clinical Application of Insulin Pump in the Treatment of Dia-betes Mellitus
Objective To study and analyse the clinical effect of insulin pump in the treatment of diabetic patients.Methods A total of ninety diabetic patients admitted to Shandong First Rehabilitation Hospital from December 2022 to December 2023 were randomly selected as the study objects and divided into two groups according to random num-ber table method,with forty-five patients in each group.The control group was treated with routine subcutaneous insu-lin injection,while the observation group was treated with continuous subcutaneous insulin pump injection.The thera-peutic effect of the two groups was compared.Results After treatment,the improvement of blood glucose level and gly-cosylated hemoglobin level before and 2 h after meals in the observation group were better than that in the control group,the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).The blood glucose control time in observation group was shorter than that in control group,and the dosage of insulin and the occurrence of hypoglycemia events were less than those in control group,the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).The total effective rate of the ob-servation group was 95.56%,higher than that of the control group(82.22%),and the difference was statistically signifi-cant(χ2=4.050,P=0.044).Conclusion In the treatment of diabetes patients,continuous subcutaneous injection with insulin pump can obtain more stable treatment effect,keep the blood glucose level of patients stable,reduce the amount of insulin used by patients,reduce the incidence of hypoglycemia,and further improve the control effect of the disease.
