Clinical Study of YL-1 Needle Puncture and Drainage Combined with Atorvastatin in the Treatment of Chronic Subdural Hematoma in Elderly People
Objective To explore the efficacy of YL-1 needle puncture and drainage combined with atorvastatin for the treatment of chronic subdural hematoma disease in the elderly. Methods Eighty-three elderly patients with chronic subdural hematoma treated in Kunshan Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from January 2022 to June 2023 were conveniently selected for the study, and were divided into two groups according to the different treatment modalities. The control group(n=41)was treated with YL-1 needle puncture and drainage, and the observation group(n=42)was combined with atorvastatin on its basis.Comparison of the two groups before and after treatment inflamma-tory factor levels, coagulation function indicators, treatment efficiency, complication rate and recurrence rate. Results The total treatment efficiency of the observation group was 97.62%,which was higher than 80.49%of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(χ2=4.651,P<0.05).The inflammation level and coagulation func-tion indexes of the two groups were reduced after treatment, and the observation group was lower than the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(both P<0.05).Comparison of the occurrence of complications in the two groups, the difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05),and the recurrence rate of the observation group was lower than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Adopting YL-1 needle puncture and drainage combined with atorvastatin regimen is more effective, which can effec-tively improve patients'inflammation level and coagulation function.
