Analysis of the Application of Small Needle Knife in Improving the Pain Level and Lumbar Spine Function Improvement in Patients with Lumbar Intervertebral Disc Herniation
Objective To explore the effect of small needle knife on the improvement of pain level and lumbar spine function in patients with lumbar intervertebral disc herniation. Methods The clinical data of 70 patients with lumbar intervertebral disc herniation admitted to Sanming Integrated Medicine Hospital from January 2021 to January 2024 were retrospectively selected, and they were divided into two groups according to the different means of treatment, with 35 cases in each group, the comparison group(implementing conventional treatment)and the study group(imple-menting the treatment of small needle knife). The clinical efficacy, pain and lumbar spine function of the two groups were compared. Results The total effective rate of treatment in the study group(97.14%)was higher than that of the comparison group(80.00%),and the difference was statistically significant(χ2=5.080,P<0.05).After treatment, the study group's Visual Analog Score,Japanese Orthopedic Association Assessment of Treatment Score, and Lower Lum-bar Pain Functional Classification Score were better than those of the comparison group, and the differences were sta-tistically significant(all P<0.05).Conclusion For patients with lumbar disc herniation, the implementation of small needle knife-based therapeutic means can improve the efficacy, relieve pain, and can promote the improvement of lumbar spine function.
