Effect and Efficacy of Immunoglobulin on Immune Function in Treating Sepsis in Children
Objective To analyze the effect of immunoglobulin on immune function in the treatment of sepsis in chil-dren.Methods A total of eighty children with sepsis admitted to Zibo Maternal and Child Health Hospital from Janu-ary 2022 to June 2023 were simple randomly selected as the study objects. They were divided into control group and observation group according to random drawing, with forty cases in each group. The control group received conven-tional treatment with methylprednisolone, and the observation group received conventional therapy+immunoglobulin. The therapeutic efficacy, immune function, inflammatory factor indexes and therapeutic safety were compared between the two groups. Results The total effective rate of the observation group was 95.00%higher than that of the control group(80.00%),and the difference was statistically significant(χ2=4.14,P<0.05).There was no significant difference in T lymphocyte subsets and inflammatory indexes between the two groups before treatment(both P>0.05),after treat-ment,CD4+and CD4+/CD8+in observation group were higher than control group,CD8+,interleukin-6 and tumor ne-crosis factor-α were lower than control group, the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the total incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion The ad-dition of immunoglobulin therapy on the basis of conventional treatment for children with sepsis can improve the effec-tiveness of treatment, exert the immune regulatory mechanism, improve the immune function of children, reduce in-flammation,less adverse reactions, and have good drug safety.
