Clinical Effect Analysis of Budesonide Combined with Salmeterol/Flutica-sone Propionate Dry Powder in the Treatment of Bronchial Asthma Com-bined with Allergic Rhinitis
Objective To analyze the clinical effect of budesonide combined with salmeterol/fluticasone propionate dry powder in the treatment of bronchial asthma combined with allergic rhinitis.Methods A total of,150 children with bronchial asthma with allergic rhinitis admitted to the Department of Pediatric Otorhinolaryngology of Wuxi Children's Hospital from April 2022 to May 2023 were randomly selected as the study objects and grouped into 75 cases each ac-cording to the odd-even method.The general group used salmeterol/fluticasone propionate dry powder,and the investi-gation group used budesonide nasal spray in combination with the general group.The symptom disappearance time,asthma symptom score,rhinitis symptom score,quality of life score and serum inflammatory factor were compared be-tween the two groups.Results The children in the investigation group cough disappearance was(3.23±1.25)d,short-ness of breath disappearance was(3.27±1.22)d,nasal congestion disappearance was(3.61±0.74)d,and itchiness dis-appearance was(3.27±0.38)d,which were shorter than those of the general group,and the differences were statisti-cally significant(t=9.768,8.546,11.309,20.752,all P<0.05).Before treatment,the difference was not statistically sig-nificant when comparing the asthma symptom scores,rhinitis symptom scores,and quality of survival scores of the children in the two groups(all P>0.05);after treatment,the children in the investigation group had better asthma symptom scores,rhinitis symptom scores,and quality of survival scores than the general group,and the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).Before treatment,the comparison of serum inflammatory factor levels of chil-dren in the two groups,the difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05);after treatment,the serum inflamma-tory factor levels of children in the investigation group were lower than those of the general group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion The efficacy of budesonide combined with salmeterol/fluticasone pro-pionate dry powder for bronchial asthma and allergic rhinitis is certain,and it can reduce the symptoms of asthma and rhinitis,and the therapeutic safety is high.
