Clinical Study on the Prevention and Treatment of Postoperative Recur-rence of Colorectal Adenoma with Xinjiasanren Decoction Based on"Damp-heat theory"
Objective To study the effect of Xinjiasanren decoction on preventing recurrence after endoscopic treat-ment of colorectal adenoma.Methods A total of one hundred and nine patients with colorectal adenoma who under-went endoscopic treatment in Rudong County Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine of the Affiliated Medical Col-lege of Yangzhou University from January to December 2022 were conveniently selected as the study objects,and grouped according to random number table method.The control group(54 cases)received conventional treatment after endoscopic surgery,and the treatment group(55 cases)received Xinjiasanren decoction.The recurrence of polyps 1 year after treatment and the improvement of clinical symptoms 1,2 and 6 months after surgery were compared between the two groups.Results The recurrence rate in the treatment group was 16.36%,which was lower than 35.18%in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(χ2=5.057,P<0.05).Before treatment,there was no sig-nificant difference in Traditional Chinese Medicine syndrome scores between the two groups(P>0.05);after treatment,Traditional Chinese Medicine syndrome scores in the treatment group were significantly lower than those in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion The application of Xinjiasanren decoc-tion after operation of colorectal adenoma is helpful to reduce the recurrence rate of polyps,improve the clinical symp-toms and improve the therapeutic effect.
