Clinical Effect Analysis of Alprostadil Combined with Ginkgo Biloba Ex-tract Injection in the Treatment of Otogenic Vertigo
Objective To evaluate the effect of combined application of alprostadil and ginkgo biloba extract injection in the treatment of otogenic vertigo.Methods A total of 120 patients with otogenic vertigo treated in Dongda Hospital of Shanxian County from May 2022 to December 2023 were randomly selected as the research objects,and they were divided into study group and control group by random number table method,with 60 cases in each group.The study group was treated with alprostadil combined with ginkgo biloba extract,while the control group was treated with ginkgo biloba extract only.The treatment effect,Vestibular Symptom Index(VSI),Dizziness Handicap Inventory(DHI)and Tinnitus Handicap Inventory(THI)scores were compared between the two groups.Results The total effec-tive rate of treatment in the study group(98.33%)was significantly better than that in the control group(86.67%),and the difference was statistically significant(χ2=4.324,P=0.038).After treatment,the scores of VSI,DHI and THI in the study group were significantly lower than those in the control group,and the differences were statistically sig-nificant(all P<0.05).Conclusion The combination of alprostadil and ginkgo biloba extract injection has significant ef-fect on the treatment of otogenic vertigo and has clinical application value.
