Application Effect Analysis of Bedside Fiberoptic Bronchoscopy in the Treatment of Patients with Ventilator-associated Pneumonia
Objective To evaluate the efficacy of a bedside fiberoptic bronchoscope for ventilator-associated pneumo-nia.Methods From August 2021 to August 2023,60 patients with ventilator-associated pneumonia admitted to Ren-huai City People's Hospital were randomly selected as study objects.According to the random number table method,they were divided into two groups,30 cases in each group.The control group was treated with traditional treatment,and the observation group was treated with bedside fiberoptic bronchoscopy.The clinical efficacy,respiratory mechan-ics parameters,inflammatory factor levels and clinical symptom scores of the two groups before and after treatment were recorded and compared.Results Before treatment,there were no significant differences in quality of life,inflam-matory factor levels and clinical symptom scores between the two groups(all P＞0.05).After treatment,the total clini-cal efficacy of the observation group was higher than that of the control group,and the respiratory mechanics param-eters were lower than those of the control group,the differences were statistically significant(both P＜0.05).The C-reactive protein was(7.13±1.01)mg/L and interleukin-6 was(98.41±11.12)pg/mL in the observation group,which were lower than(9.75±0.05)mg/L,(110.05±11.14)pg/mL in the control group,the differences were statistically signifi-cant(t=14.191,4.050,both P＜0.001).The clinical symptom score of the observation group was lower than that of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P＜0.05).Conclusion The bedside fiberoptic bronchos-copy treatment is helpful to regulate the level of related inflammatory factors,improve the respiratory disorder of pa-tients,and promote their lung function recovery.
