Analysis of the Effect of rTMS Technology on Abnormal Behavior and Sleep Status in Children with Autism Spectrum Disorder and Sleep Disor-der
Objective To investigate the effects of repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation(rTMS)on abnormal be-havior and sleep status in children with autism spectrum disorder(ASDs)and sleep disorders. Methods A total of 60 children with ASDs and sleep disorders admitted to Quanzhou Children's Hospital from March 2021 to August 2023 were simple randomly selected as the research objects. They were divided into two groups by random number table method, with 30 cases in each group. The control group received routine rehabilitation treatment, and the observation group was treated with rTMS technology on the basis of the control group. The abnormal behavior and sleep status of the two groups at different treatment stages were compared. Results After treatment, the scores of each item of the Au-tism Behavior Checklist and the scores of each item of the Children's Sleep Habits Questionnaire(CSHQ)in the obser-vation group were lower than those in the control group, the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05);the total score of CSHQ in the observation group was(43.02±4.19)points,which was lower than that in the control group(45.72±4.85)points,the differences were statistically significant(t=2.307,P=0.024).Conclusion rTMS technology used in the treatment of children with ASDs and sleep disorders can help reduce the abnormal behavior of children and improve their sleep status.
