Effect of Alprostadil Combined with Conventional Therapy on Inflamma-tory Response and Oxidative Stress Response of Patients with Severe Acute Pancreatitis
Objective To investigate the effect of alprostadil combined with conventional therapy on inflammatory re-sponse and oxidative stress response of patients with severe acute pancreatitis. Methods A total of 67 patients with se-vere acute pancreatitis admitted to Anxi Guanqiao Hospital from July 2018 to January 2021 were conveniently se-lected for comparative study and analysis. The patients were divided into observation group(32 cases)and control group(35 cases)by double-blind lottery grouping method. The patients in the control group were treated with routine regimen, and the patients in the observation group were treated with alprostadil on this basis. The differences in serum levels of inflammatory factors, chemokines and oxidative stress indexes before treatment,7 days after treatment and 14 days after treatment were compared between the two groups. Results Before treatment, there was no significant differ-ence in serum levels of inflammatory factors, chemokines and oxidative stress indexes between the two groups(all P>0.05).After 7 days of treatment, the interleukin-6(18.63±3.40)pg/mL in the observation group was lower than that in the control group(32.95±4.26)pg/mL,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).After 14 days of treat-ment,the interleukin-6(11.65±1.84)pg/mL in the observation group was lower than that in the control group(20.77±2.68)pg/mL,and the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).After treatment, the contents of interleukin-17,interleukin-18,interleukin-23,chemokine monocyte chemoattractant protein-1,neutrophil activating protein-78,macrophage inflammatory protein-2,reactive oxygen species and reactive nitrogen species in the observation group were lower than those in the control group, and the contents of total antioxidant capacity and catalase were higher than those in the control group, the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).Conclusion Adjuvant therapy al-prostadil in severe acute pancreatitis can further inhibit systemic inflammation and oxidative stress reaction and opti-mize their condition.
