Analysis of the Effect of Statins in the Treatment of Coronary Heart Dis-ease Patients with Diabetes
Objective To analyze the value of statin therapy in patients with coronary atherosclerotic heart disease(CHD)and diabetes. Methods A total of 92 patients with coronary heart disease and diabetes mellitus treated in Linyi People's Hospital from September 2022 to September 2023 were conveniently selected as the study objects, and were divided into reference group and inquiry group according to odd-even method, with 46 cases in each group. The ref-erence group was given basic treatment, and the inquiry group was supplemented with statins. The levels of blood glucose, blood lipids, vascular endothelial function and the occurrence of adverse reactions were compared between the two groups. Results After treatment, fasting blood glucose and 2 h postprandial blood glucose in the inquiry group were lower than those in the reference group, the differences were statistically significant(both P<0.05).After treat-ment,blood lipid indexes in both groups were improved compared with those before treatment, and total cholesterol and triglyceride in the inquiry group were lower than those in the reference group, the differences were statistically sig-nificant(all P<0.05).Before treatment, there was no significant difference in vascular endothelial function between the two groups(P>0.05).After treatment, vascular endothelial function in the inquiry group was better than that in the ref-erence group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The total incidence of adverse reactions in the inquiry group was 4.35%,which was lower than that in the reference group(19.57%),the difference was statistically significant(χ2=5.059,P=0.024).Conclusion Statins have good regulating effect on blood lipids, can avoid adverse re-actions,prevent disease recurrence, improve plaque stability, and restore vascular endothelial function, which has clinical research value.
