Pain Nursing Intervention after Nuss Surgery for Pectus excavatum in Children
Objective To explore the clinical effect of pain nursing intervention after pectus excavatum minimally in-vasive correction(Nuss surgery)in children with pectus excavatum. Methods A total of 40 children with pectus exca-vatum who underwent Nuss surgery in Liupanshui People's Hospital from January 2020 to December 2023 were simple randomly selected as study objects and divided into reference group and observation group according to com-puter lottery method, with 20 cases in each group. The children in the reference group were given basic pain care, and the children in the observation group were given optimized pain care on this basis. The pain score, crying score and nursing satisfaction of the two groups were compared. Results There was no significant difference in pain score and crying score between the two groups at 1 day after operation(P>0.05).The pain scores and the crying scores of the children in the observation group at 2 days and 3 days after surgery were lower than those in the reference group, and the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).After nursing, the nursing satisfaction of the family members in the observation group(100.00%)was higher than that in the reference group(80.00%),and the difference was statis-tically significant(χ2=4.444,P<0.05).Conclusion Pain nursing intervention for children with pectus excavatum after Nuss surgery has significant clinical application value.
