To Explore the Effect of Nursing Intervention on the Recovery of Hip Joint Function in Elderly Patients after Hip Replacement
Objective To explore the significance of nursing intervention in the recovery of hip joint function in el-derly patients after hip replacement surgery. Methods A total of 80 elderly patients who underwent hip replacement in Liaocheng People's Hospital from June 2022 to May 2023 were conveniently selected as the research objects.Accord-ing to the random number table method, they were divided into control group and observation group, with 40 cases in each group. The control group received routine nursing after operation, and the observation group received comprehen-sive nursing intervention. The differences of hip joint function, psychological state, quality of life and complications between the two groups before and after nursing were compared and analyzed. Results Before nursing, there were no significant differences in Harris score, psychological state score and quality of life score between the two groups(all P>0.05).After nursing, the above scores of the two groups were improved, and the Harris score and quality of life score in the observation group were higher than those in the control group, and the psychological state score was lower than that in the control group, the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).The incidence of complications af-ter nursing in the observation group was 2.50%,which was lower than 15.00%in the control group, the difference was statistically significant(χ2=3.914,P<0.05).Conclusion The application of nursing intervention in elderly patients af-ter hip replacement can improve the hip joint function of surgical patients. It has a positive effect in improving the negative psychology and quality of life of patients, and can further reduce the occurrence of postoperative complica-tions.
