Clinical Effect of Noninvasive Ventilator in the Treatment of Chronic Ob-structive Pulmonary Disease with Type Ⅱ Respiratory Failure
Objective To analyze the clinical effect of different ventilation in patients with chronic obstructive pulmo-nary disease(COPD)and type Ⅱ respiratory failure. Methods A total of 94 patients with COPD and type Ⅱ respira-tory failure admitted to Jinsha County People's Hospital of Guizhou Province from January 2021 to December 2022 were conveniently selected as the study objects.According to the random number table method, they were divided into two groups,47 cases in each group.Patients in both groups were given conventional treatment. On the basis of conven-tional treatment, the comparison group was given invasive ventilation treatment, and the observation group was given noninvasive ventilator treatment. The therapeutic effect of the two groups was compared. Results Before treatment, there was no significant difference in the level of lung function indexes between the two groups(P>0.05).After treat-ment,the level of lung function index in observation group was higher than that in comparison group, and the differ-ence was statistically significant(P<0.05).The blood gas index of observation group was better than that of comparison group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The heart rate and respiratory rate of the observation group were lower than those of the comparison group, and the differences were statistically significant(both P<0.05).The offline time of observation group was shorter than that of comparison group, and the difference was statistically sig-nificant(P<0.05).The effective rate of observation group(97.87%)was higher than that of comparison group(82.98%),and the difference was statistically significant(χ2=4.424,P=0.035).There was no significant difference in the inci-dence of adverse events between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion Conventional treatment plus non-invasive venti-lator can improve blood oxygen partial pressure, reduce heart rate fluctuation and promote lung function recovery in COPD patients with type Ⅱ respiratory failure.
