Clinical Effect Analysis of Ankle Joint Posterolateral and Medial Com-bined Approach in the Treatment of Ankle Fracture
Objective To explore the effect of posterolateral and medial combined approach of ankle joint in the treat-ment of ankle fracture. Methods A total of 60 patients with ankle fracture admitted to Kunshan Fourth People's Hospi-tal from June 2016 to December 2023 were randomly selected as the study subjects. The two-color ball method was di-vided into study group and reference group, with 30 cases in each group. The reference group underwent unilateral ap-proach,and the study group underwent posterolateral and medial combined approach.Perioperative indicators, ankle function and complications were compared between the two groups. Results The intraoperative blood loss of the study group was(101.48±7.65)mL,which was higher than that of the reference group(97.52±5.33)mL,and the difference was statistically significant(t=2.326,P<0.05).There was no statistically significant difference in operation time,ambu-lation time and hospitalization time between the two groups(all P>0.05).The scores of pain, function and activity of ankle joint function in the study group were higher than those in the reference group, and the differences were statisti-cally significant(all P<0.05).There was no statistically significant difference in the incidence of complications be-tween the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion Compared with the unilateral approach, the posterolateral and medial com-bined approach can improve the perioperative indicators of patients with ankle fracture, improve bone metabolism and ankle function, and reduce the incidence of complications.
