Analysis of the Effect of General Anesthesia and Intraspinal Anesthesia in Elderly Patients Undergoing Hip Replacement
Objective To study the application value of general anesthesia and spinal anesthesia in elderly hip re-placement surgery. Methods A total of 176 elderly patients who underwent hip replacement in Yankuang New Journey General Hospital from January 2021 to January 2024 were conveniently selected as observation subjects. They were di-vided into two groups by random number table method.88 patients in the control group underwent general anesthesia, and 88 patients in the observation group underwent spinal anesthesia. The cognitive function and observation time,vi-tal signs(mean arterial pressure, heart rate)and anesthesia complications were compared between patients in two groups. Results The cognitive function score of the observation group at 6 h after operation[(27.16±1.42)points]was higher than that of the control group[(25.64±1.62)points],and the observation time of the observation group[(10.83±3.64)min]was shorter than that of the control group[(15.53±3.23)min],the differences were statistically significant(t=6.618,9.059,both P<0.05).At 10 min of anesthesia and at the end of surgery, the mean arterial pressure and heart rate of the observation group were higher and more stable, and the differences were statistically significant(both P<0.05).The total incidence of anesthesia complications in the observation group was lower, and the difference was sta-tistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Compared with general anesthesia, elderly patients treated with hip replace-ment are more suitable for intraspinal anesthesia, which can ensure that patients'vital signs are more stable during op-eration,reduce the risk of anesthesia complications, and the anesthesia effect is reliable.
