To Study the Application Value of Predictive Nursing Intervention in Post-operative Brain Salt Depletion Syndrome after Sellar Region Tumor
Objective To explore the clinical effectiveness of predictive nursing intervention for cerebral salt-wasting syndrome after surgery for sellar region tumor. Methods A total of 60 patients with cerebral salt wasting syndrome af-ter sellar region tumor surgery admitted to the Guangxi Medical University Affiliated Cancer Hospital from Decem-ber 2022 to December 2023 were simple randomly selected as the research objects.According to the random num-ber table method, they were divided into the control group(traditional nursing intervention)and the observation group(predictive nursing intervention),with 30 cases in each group. The incidence of diabetes insipidus and electro-lyte disturbance, nursing satisfaction and quality of life scores of the two groups were compared. Results The inci-dence of diabetes insipidus and electrolyte disturbance in the observation group was lower than that in the control group, the differences were statistically significant(both P<0.05).The nursing satisfaction of the observation group was 93.33%,higher than that of the control group 70.00%,and the difference was statistically significant(χ2=5.455,P<0.05).After nursing, the quality of life score of the observation group was higher than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Predictive nursing intervention is effective in patients with cerebral salt consumption syndrome after sellar region tumor surgery, which can not only reduce the incidence of complications, but also improve the satisfaction of patients.
